  • Room for solitude, and gentle space to share.

  • Pool access for swims, stillness, herbal teas, and time that lingers.

Solo Experience:

For those craving stillness, solitude, and space to go inward.
A private double en-suite for rest, reflection, and uninterrupted pages.

Shared Stay (Solo, Open to Pairing):

A more accessible option for solo guests happy to share a twin space with another writer. You’ll each have your own bed and quiet companionship (shared bathroom - one other person only).

Writing requires fuel, not just of thought, but of body. Our alcohol-free, toxin-free kitchen offers meals that are simple, clean, and deeply supportive of your process.

This is your time and we’re here to make the experience as seamless and nourishing as possible. While our days are designed to be slow and still, we understand you may want a little more support, or a little more adventure.

Here’s how we can help:

  • Need help arranging your flights or transfers to the finca? Just let us know we’ll guide you gently from your inbox to our doorstep.

  • Craving the sea air or a quiet cove? We can organise a half-day beach trip, a boat ride along the coast, a sunset walk, or even a morning horseback trail. Slow, scenic, and always optional.

  • If your body is asking for care, we can connect you with trusted local practitioners for reiki, massage, or breathwork.

At The Writer’s Residence, we believe in the transformative power of words.
That’s why 10% of all retreat fees are dedicated to building mini wellness libraries in underrepresented, low-income communities in the Midlands, UK.
We know that access to knowledge can change lives, and our mission is to provide spaces for healing, growth, and learning.
The first wellness library will open in 2025 — and each stay brings us closer to making that vision a reality.

  • Five nights in a historic Mallorcan finca. Daily nourishing meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), quiet writing hours, optional creative prompts, 1:1 check-ins, meditation, movement, and full use of the space, including the pool and peaceful outdoor areas.

  • Not quite. The Writer’s Residence is a creative experience, gentle, grounded, and unstructured. It’s not a retreat full of back-to-back workshops or rigid schedules. Instead, we offer silence, space, and soulful rhythm so you can hear yourself think and create in peace.

  • Not at all. This is for anyone with a creative project calling for their attention, whether it's a book, a journal, business plan, or simply space to reconnect with your voice. There’s no pressure to produce. Just presence.

  • Our first residence is held in a seculded finca, tucked in the mountian foot-hills, around 30–40 minutes from Palma airport. We’re happy to help arrange flights, airport transfers, and rental cars if needed.

  • Yes. Optional extras include beach trips, boat trips, horse riding, or a visit to Palma’s old town. These can be arranged once you’ve booked, always slow, scenic, and optional.

  • A non-refundable deposit secures your space. The remaining balance is due six weeks before arrival. If you need to cancel, we’ll do our best to fill your spot, but please note we can’t guarantee a refund. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.
